I had to go get blood work done yesterday to see if the pregnancy hormone is dropping. It's gone down to 100. It was 300 last Monday when they told me I had miscarried. I'll have to go in next week to have them check it again. Hopefully I won't have to have a D & C. I don't really know anything about it and it just scares me... I'm sure women have them all the time, but can there be complications? I don't know. I just know that I don't want to have it done!We really didn't do much this weekend. We were going to start working on our vegetable garden, but it started raining so I suppose we'll have to do it next weekend... weather permitting. My roses are blooming out and look so pretty. My little bush has about 20 blooms on it. Bobby cut me a couple and I have them in the kitchen window. I just love the smell of these roses. Bobby can't smell them, it's the strangest thing. He's never been able to smell a rose. The first one he has been able to smell was one that came off of my mom and dad's bush this weekend. You could see the look of suprise on his face when he said "I can smell it!" I just wish he could smell these...
Well, Tad's napping now, I've got lots of housework to catch up on. I've been sitting here at the computer all day. Time to get to work...

Hi Courtney, the pincushion looks great. I'm never happy with mine. The flowers are gorgeous.
I don't know anything about a D&C so I can't give you any info on that. Try not to worry. I'm sure everything will be okay. Take care.

Courtney, You are so talented! Your pins are amazing! My husband and I had 5 miscarriages before we had our daughter. Sometimes it was really hard for me to except that this was God's timing and planning and not at all in our control. Of course its easy to see the big picture when your looking back. Its not so easy sometimes when your sitting in the middle of it. The furthest along I got with any of my pregnancies was 12 weeks and I never had to have a D&C. So many women have miscarriages, its unbelieveable to me! I know many that have had to have D&C's, its not bad. We will be praying for you. God Bless.
